TNT Fireworks® announces winner of nationwide contest
Arroyo Grande, Calif. resident awarded $17,000

Arroyo Grande resident Kelli Stein celebrates winning the nationwide TNT Fireworks® Chevy Silverado Giveaway with her family (clockwise from L – R): Kurt, Kelli, Kamryn and Kade Stein.
FLORENCE, Ala. (December 30, 2009) – For Kelli Stein, a resident of Arroyo Grande, Ca. , her and her family's lives changed when she stopped in the parking lot of Central Market in Oceano to purchase some TNT Fireworks® for their Independence Day celebration.
Stein's son, Kade, had insisted on stopping at a TNT stand – any other fireworks were unacceptable to him. While at the fireworks stand operated by the non-profit group Fraternal Order of the Eagles, it made sense to join the TNT club and enter to win TNT's latest contest – a national truck giveaway. Stein left that day with more than $200 worth of TNT fireworks for the holiday, but she would get so much more in the coming weeks.
"I was in shock for days," she said. "If it were not for my son, we would never have been at that booth. We saw a shooting star right after I entered. We feel truly blessed by our fortunate outcome and will always be thankful to TNT for making it happen!"
Stein is grateful to TNT for "helping a lot of people realize that there are winners of these contests." Stein almost didn't answer the phone when TNT called to alert her she had won the nationwide contest, beating out more than 300,000 entrants and was skeptical at first. However, she is a true believer now.
Each year, TNT holds a nationwide truck giveaway, netting hundreds of thousands of entries. This year's contest, which ran from June 20 th through July 5 th , offered a new Chevy Silverado. Entry forms were available at all TNT Fireworks® tent stands in the U.S.
As the national contest winner, Stein had the choice of two prizes – either a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado or a cash prize. She took the money, which amounted to $17,000. According to Stein, she is planning to use her winnings from TNT to pay down debt and help her family business.
"We are so grateful to TNT," she says. "This has made such a difference in our lives and will continue to do so."
Not only did the Stein family benefit from the TNT nationwide truck giveaway, the non-profit groups that operate the TNT fireworks stand locations are also thankful for the business generated by contest entrants.
