Council Approves Fireworks Ordinance
The first change involves the distance requirements for where fireworks may be set off in relation to places where they are sold. The old ordinance language was unclear as to whether fireworks may not be shot or detonated within 300 or 100 feet of where fireworks are sold or stored. This new ordinance, which amends Sec. 15-229 (5) of the Moberly city code, sets the limit at 300 feet.Read More!
