I would like to tell you briefly about what our desire is to do with the money that we earn. Our church has been doing mission trips to Peru for 14 years. Over the years we have built churches, homes and schools while also providing medical help to the Peruvians. A few years ago, an earthquake devastated towns where we had built. Since then we have returned to rebuild stronger structures. However, in rebuilding we have seen that the biggest devastation to these towns is lack of clean water. Because of the earthquake, water lines were broken that the government has not been able to repair and the people are becoming sicker with each day. Since the quake in 2007, our medical teams have repeatedly handed out medicines year after year to the same families and children whose biggest issue are parasites in the stomach due to drinking dirty water. Last year we discovered a system that can be built into the house to provide clean water called Hydraid Biosand water filters. The Navy and other organizations such as Samaritan’s Purse are currently installing these systems worldwide. Because the economy has been so bad, we have not been able to send supplies or as many team members to Peru as previous years. Therefore, we could not afford to even consider trying to buy this clean water system. Since being approached by TNT Fireworks, we now have the opportunity to purchase and take over 50 of these systems to schools, churches and homes. The Navy has committed to shipping the systems into Peru for free for us and we will transport them to the towns and there we will build them. This will change the lives of thousands of people.

I put together a after graduation party for the years graduating seniors for the Mountain View highschool and it takes alot of funds to put together what I put together for our seniors. Our town is small and nothing for our graduating kids to do except things they dont need to be doing so last year since my daughter was graduating I decided to start hosting a after grad party and it has been awesome. Our next event will be May 2011 and it is our 3rd event.
