Buzz Aldrin Coming to Myrtle Beach
On July 20th 1969, Buzz Aldrin became the second astronaut to walk on the moon as he followed Apollo 11 mission commander Neal Armstrong. Mr. Aldrin’s distinguished career as both an Air Force pilot and NASA astronaut make him a true American icon and hero. The city of Myrtle Beach, SC is honored to have Mr. Aldrin serve as the Grand Marshall of the first Military Appreciation Days parade on Ocean Boulevard.
